Conference Call with Gerald C. Hsu, Chairman, CEO and President Of the Avant! Corporation
Gerald C. Hsu, the chairman, CEO, and president of the Avant! corporation,
invites you to join him in a conference call where he will discuss: Avant!'s Strategy to Bring the Company into the 21st Century Mr. Hsu will speak about the business challenges facing the EDA industry
as well as broader trends facing companies in the high-tech industry.
Mr. Hsu
will also discuss the previously announced selection of Paul Lo to serve as
Avant!'s chief operating officer (COO). After the presentation Mr. Hsu will
entertain questions from the audience. Please note that Mr. Hsu and Avant! will not discuss any information
regarding Avant!'s business or financial performance in Q3, 2000.

will announce its financial results for the third quarter of 2000 in its
